Jazz Cruise with Paulo Ramos - It's been a good while since he's been at the Festival, so we're even happier to know that we'll be seeing him not just once, but on six evenings aboard the Bateau-Mouche! Infusing every performance with a festive, intoxicating warmth, this charismatic Brazilian-born songwriter, singer, guitarist and percussionist will totally take our breath away!

WALKING TOUR:
The Quartier des spectacles: from burlesque to the Place des Festivals,
in collaboration with VDM
Many celebrities have crossed paths in this district as far back as the 19th century, from Sammy Davis Jr. to Nelligan and Aznavour. This district makes up a large part of Montreal's history and was once witness to Burlesque shows and the Eden Museum. Today, this district is one of the up-and-coming urban projects that will define Montreal's future in the cultural world. Modern concert halls and public places are now part of the landscape of the Quartier des spectacles, located in the heart of downtown Montreal.
Dates: June 25, 26, and 27, and July 2, 3 and 4, 2010.

IMMERSION FRENÇAISE ET JAZZ COURSE
in collaboration with UQAM
This two-day course welcomes those interested in beginner or advanced French in order to develop the language skills necessary to travel unaccompanied in a francophone country, all with the Festival as a backdrop.
Dates: Friday, July 2, and Saturday, July 3, 2010.
Price: $299 per person (includes 13.5 hours of training, registration fees, educational materials, welcome breakfast, guided tour of Old Montréal, Festival kit bag, insurance and taxes).
